I've come to terms with the fact that I will never update this blog regularly, and I sincerely apologise to my imaginary loyal readers who feel letdown by this news. I am not busy; I'm just pretending to be. Anyhow, I've always wanted to write about my favourite facial mask ever. It is from Korea (duh) and I figured that this is a well-loved product all over the Internet, and I might say that this is kind of a cult product..? I don't know, you get to decide. Ladies and non existing gentlemen, Skinfood's very own, Black Sugar Mask.
Now now, I have noticed that a lot of bloggers have reviewed this one particular product. I kind of want to review it, but all I have to say is that this product smells and feels heavenly on your skin; I can't seem to elaborate in a lengthy post. But what I will write is how I apply this mask on my already flawless face lol.
How many times a month? A week? A day?!
I never mask daily in fear of over exfoliate which may causes breakouts and overly sensitive skin. I mask max (try saying mask max repeatedly) twice a week, which makes it max 8 times a month. But often times, I mask once a week because I'm lazy. Also, I mask at night. But I never really try masking in the morning, so I should probably attempt to one day.
How do you.. how.. just how..?
So, what I do with this mask is that I take a spoonful (not with a literal spoon, just the amount of it) on my hand, and spread it on my face. Then, I scrub the mask all over until the particles smoothens so there is no more 'crumbs' left on my face. Then I repeat the step of spreading the mask all over the face but instead of scrubbing it in, I leave it for 15-20min while I enjoy new episodes of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. After those long minutes, I rinsed it off and my face instantly feels like a baby's exfoliated butt.
Now, how do you apply this heaven-sent mask on your face?
