Skincare and beauty is not a cheap obsession to have. While there are many many great beauty and skincare products the drugstores offer, I can't help but crave for the more expensive, fancy stuff. 'Will I Ever Get to Purchase These' will be a series of posts about brands or products that I long for but can't have, for multiple reasons. Financial reasons, for one. Another reason; geography. Even if the products are affordable or cheap as hell, I still can't get my hands on it because the products are only available on certain parts of the world. For instance, Glossier.
What is it that I want to purchase?
If you're into beauty and on Instagram a lot, there is no way you're not, at least once, being exposed to this brand. Glossier is an up and coming beauty brand, brought to you by Into the Gloss, a well-known beauty blog slash website. Glossier markets heavily through social media, they know what they're doing and they're excellent at it. Social media is basically how the brand get to be what they are now, a cult brand. They're also accountable of bringing back pink being cool, along with The 1975. Many, many Instagram accounts are inspired by the brand that most of their feed are pink-themed. Hell, even I attempted on having a pink themed feed. But we'll get to that later.

Glossier describe their products as makeup products that is also good for your skin. Glossier is really about enhancing one's skin instead of covering, kind of goes with their tagline 'Skin first. Makeup second. Smile always.' Very catchy indeed. One product that I am dying to have is the Perfecting Skin Tint. You know how many times I write in this blog about how I don't like foundation and other bases because of the cakey feeling it gives? I'm assuming that the Perfecting Skin Tint will not give off this fear of mine because of how light the formula is and how very sheer the coverage is, at least that's what I have watched, read, and heard from reviews all over the Internet. I feel like Perfecting Skin Tint will be the answer to my prayers.
Other product that I want includes the Balm Dotcom, which I believe strongly that it has the same consistency and is pretty similar to Lucas Papaw Ointment. I really want to have this product just to prove my claim. And it would also be nice to have two different balms on two different bags of mine. Last thing that I really crave for is also Glossier's latest; Boy Brow. I'm crazy about brows, everyone is. I may not scream 'on fleek' every time I spot a thick, big brows, but I always appreciate people who really pay attention to their brow game. There hasn't been many reviews about this particular product, so I have to try it on myself, right? Right...? :(
extras: Annie is everything I wanted to be. Glossier is where I want to work at. right at this moment. People at Glossier are so beautiful and gorgeous. All in all, I am obsessed with this brand it's getting unhealthy.
Why the hell can't I purchase these?
Location. Glossier currently only ship to the U.S. and Puerto Rico. I have yet found a third party website who sell this brand. I have no idea whether Glossier is planning to expand their shipping territory, but I, among other non-American beauty devotee, always keep our fingers crossed and wish for that day to happen.
