#MonthlySelfieFace: Winter Face

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

It's obvious that I have been neglecting this blog for around 4 to 5 months.. and I missed numerous #monthlyselfieface posts. But quite frankly, I have been wearing the same products for the past 4 to 5 months. Plus it was winter which means I wasn't out a lot and I didn't have to put on make up on my face. On mid July however, I went to Melbourne to meet up with my friends and the weather was no joke there -it was way colder than I expected. But I had a great time, mostly because I missed hanging out with my friends. Therefore on this post I'm going to post selfies featuring my two beloved friends.

I packed up beauty products that I have always been using in a small pouch, which includes my skincare that I have transferred to a smaller container. The make up that I brought (and I wore every single day during winter) was not that many but are essential to me. As per usual, I didn't use base make up because as you know if you read my blog, I don't like the feeling of my skin being trapped by foundation or any other make up bases. However, I did have a few blemishes on my face, and to deal with that, I wore Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind in Medium. I also use that whenever I felt like covering my dark circles. Believe me, this product is worth the hype, and it's inexpensive, too! For eyebrow, I bought a new product when I was in Melbourne, and it's the Face Shop's Design my Eyebrow in Black Brown. This glides on easily on my eyebrows, and the spooly on the end of the product was very helpful to tame my eyebrow. On top of that, I wear this new product that has now become my staple; L'oreal Brow Plumper in Medium/Dark. This really does help keeping my eyebrows to stay in place, and it's tinted so it adds more colour to the hair.

For the eyes, I drew cat eye flick on everyday basis back when I was in Melbourne, no specific reason for that. Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner helped me achieve that flick easily and it stays on forever. As for mascara, I'm trying out the Smashbox's Full Exposure Waterproof Mascara. The price for this one was pretty much similar to drugstore ones, so I decided to go for this one. I love the packaging! it's simply a long, sliver tube. Very sleek. On the cheek I wore my beloved Sleek's Blush by 3 in Lace. I wore all three colours, depends on my mood. For the lips, on  most days, I wore this lip tint i also bought in Melbourne, which is the Face Shop's My Lips Eat Cherry Aqua Tint. Very watery, and not that moisturising, so on top of that, I put on Korres' Lip Butter in Wild Rose. HOWEVER, I just lost my lip tint a few days ago :( RIP to my everyday lip tint :(
